Back in the 70s I was a policeman, but I didn’t hesitate to cross professional boundaries in pursuit of my own vision of justice. Especially because the law back then was served by inept, incompetent bureaucrats with no idea of what was actually happening on the street. I killed lots of criminals, mostly in gunfights. I was all about protecting and avenging victims of violent crime by using deadly force.
